Out for rest of season as in Colarado having hip surgery. No surprise but why didn't he have it earlier in season ?

He was trying to ’manage’ it because by all accounts it’s not a simple surgery but obviously it’s not worked out.
lets hope he comes back as good and we haven’t got a Ben Parker on our hands...

Sad news any sports person i heard of going for hip surgery usually means career over.

I suppose its like all medical issues if its caught in time surgeons "may" be able to do something about it, but a hip surgery? surely thats curtains for a professional footballer no matter what league you play in around the world.

Chances are real the injury/operation could well end his football career.
If it was difficult for Murray to return to fitness, for a footballer there's so much more impact...

I’ve read a few reports of successes from his surgeon, not many note-able failures although that doesn’t mean there haven’t been any. Cellino’s last dig before we never hear from him again (reported he got the injury in preseason against Calgari).
He’s on a decent contract so we can only sit back and hope it works and we don’t have a Eunan OKane situation. Preseason is the aim, I guess we will know early enough in the sessions if it’s worked or if a permanent replacement is required. If we get promotion will we be bothered about his impending return or be able to replace with better? Although who that would be is another question.

Do not mean to sound like I do not care but I really believe Bielsa, Radz and Orta are wishing they took the 4m they were offered in preseason this year by Brentford for Forshaw

No - PJ went for reasons unrelated to anything other than him.
