Just what was Kiko thinking about the other night when Cooper passed the ball back to him?

1:Thank F-uck I signed a four and a half year contract?

2:Jesus Liam that's a s-hite back pass.

3:What will I spend the 5 million I'm going to earn in the next 3 year's on? (May I suggest a goalkeeping coach?).

I mentioned in the last MDT I wasn't comfortable with him in goal, now I just want him dropped. That's 20 point's he's cost us with his mistake's and it's not good enough. He will cost us promotion. The Racist Cnut.

Anyway on to Saturday.

It would be fair to say that we were fearful heading into Tuesday's clash with Brentford, and our mood would not have been helped when under-fire goalkeeper Kiko Casilla dropped a huge clanger to allow the hosts to take the lead.

The Whites responded impressively to secure a share of the spoils at Griffin Park, though, and it will go down as an important result having lost to Wigan Athletic and Nottingham Forest in their two previous games.

There is no getting away from the fact that we have now only won one of our last seven in the Championship, though, which has seen the gap to third position evaporate.

Indeed, Bielsa's side are now level on points with third-placed Fulham and sit six behind leaders West Bromwich Albion, who are just starting to pull clear of the chasing pack at a key stage of the campaign.

The Whites are certainly due a big result, but the fact that they are only three points clear of seventh-placed Bristol City heading into this contest is an indication of their precarious position.

A horror run of form in the latter stages of 2019 saw Bristol City pick up just three points from five matches, while they also started 2020 with a 4-0 home defeat to Brentford.

Things have turned in recent weeks, though, and Lee Johnson's side will enter this match having won five of their last six in the Championship to move to within the brink of the top six.

The Robins, who just fell short of the playoffs last season as they finished eighth, recorded a 3-2 victory over Derby County on Wednesday evening.

They will actually follow the trip to Elland Road with a home game against leaders West Brom next weekend, and their results in the two fixtures could determine whether they are capable of challenging for promotion.

Leeds have won five of their last six Championship meetings, though, and have lost just once to the Robins in the league since 1979, which is an indication of the size of the task facing the visitors this weekend.

Leeds midfielder Adam Forshaw has been ruled out for the remainder of the season as he prepares to undergo hip surgery, while Tyler Roberts and Robbie Gotts are both unavailable through injury.

Bielsa revealed at Thursday's press conference that the Whites had not picked up any fresh concerns from the Brentford clash, though, and therefore the same XI could take to the field.

Jean-Kevin Augustin is still waiting for his first start since arriving on loan last month, but Patrick Bamford will continue in attack despite failing to score in seven of his last eight Championship outings.

Casilla has also been confirmed as a starter despite his clanger against the Bees. [m1516][m1516][m1516][m1516][m1516]

Bristol City, meanwhile, will again be without the services of Tomas Kalas, Marley Watkins and Benik Afobe.

Filip Benkovic, Nakhi Wells and Markus Henriksen all made their first starts for the club on Wednesday night, and it appears that all three could retain their spots this weekend.

Andreas Weimann and Tommy Rowe are two players who will be pushing to return to the starting XI this weekend, although Johnson is unlikely to make significant changes from the win over the Rams.

I predict we will storm into a 3-0 lead but Kiko will let 4 clanger's in to ruin our season.

Some random Bristol facts:

1: Ribena and chocolate bars were invented in Bristol.

2: Gary Glitter was held in Bristol's Horfield prison after taking his child porn laden laptop into pc world. The wrong un'.

3: In 1979 there was an unexplained 'Hum' in Bristol.

4: Peckham's Nelson Mandela house from Only Fool's and Horse's is actually in Bristol.

5: Wallace and Gromit was filmed in Bristol.

Some famous people from Bristol.

Cary Grant
Stephen Merchant
The chuckle brother
lee Evans
James May
One nostriled Dolly parton impersonator Douglas Bader.
Musician Tricky
Russell Howard.

Tomorrow there will be wet wind. Dead windy but strangely this wind will soak you to the core. I'm looking in to what will be making the wind wet, hopefully have an answer for you by tomorrow.
Good luck Mr Montana, hope the wet wind doesn't balls it up for you.

Good luck mate, cracking MDT

Casilla has to be dropped surely. Shame about the almost permanently injured Roberts.

Hope we have had our ( quite big ) blip. Last year it was the final few games.

Good luck TM, surely Kiko can’t fook up again....Can he? I certainly hope not!
Anyway, apart from Florists where we played crap, we have been the better side against everyone we have played so far this season, irrespective of weather we have won, drawn or lost!
So it’s about time results begun reflecting this...2-1 to The Mighty Leeds👍 MOT

Good luck TM.

With their suspect defence and our keeper in the worst form of his life.... It should be a 7 goal thriller 😆

But I think we will nick an early goal and then it will be all hands on deck pulling together to protect Kiko and give him the clean sheet he so desperately needs to boost his confidence.... It will end 2-0 Leeds with every player rushing to congratulate Kiko at the end of the game.

Followed by a big hug from Bielsa 😎

Klich and Harrison with the goals 👍

QUALITY MDT TM and good luck again....

If you look at the Kiki mistake in slow motion he has his foot in exactly the right place to receive the ball.... for some inexplicable reason he lifts his foot up just as he's about to control it!!

I'd swap Kiki and Bamford round with Kiki up front and Bamford in goal....

I'm going for a positive 4-2 win with a Hattrick Bamford hat trick and JKA to notch.... we have to watch out for Nakhi Wells who hates us and will go on a one man mission to score v us....

The weather could be a real leveller as hurricane winds and rain are forecast again.... it could also work in our favour as we'll be hopefully totally playing it on the floor....

Leeds dominate possession, have 18 chances, of which 5 are on target. Leeds rack up double digits in corners too.
Bamford hits the bar, The rest of us hit the bar as Bristol City launch their only shot on target from a set piece into the box and Kiko watches it go in the top corner from a deflection.

Leeds 0 - 1 Brizzle.

Excuse me - I like to think I do negativity with class.....

however, having accepted the implied criticism from m'learned friend I have modified my prediction as below:

Leeds start the game like a train, pass after pass makes it's way unerringly to it's intended target as the Elland Road faithful reach an ecstasy of anticipation. Bamford latches onto a sublime cross in the 16th minute and leaps like a Salmon to dispatch the ball into the top corner. 1-0.
Leeds aren't done though - beautiful football across the park and a pinpoint cross field ball from Dallas to Costa in the 33rd minute leads to a blatant foul inside the box, Bristol City down to 10 men and Bamford has the chance to make it 2 from the spot. 2-0.
Leeds are absolutely rampant as a crowd on the edge of orgasm roars them on. A dangerous counter from 10 man Bristol City almost leads to a goal, but ever dependable Kiko Casilla makes a breathtaking double save at point blank range to preserve Leeds advantage just before the break.
Leeds are not to be denied - after the break Bielsa throws on Poveda and Augustin - the results are immediate as Poveda sets up Augustin for a twisty-mazy run into the box and a sublime volley makes it 3 after 56 mins. 3-0.
After the third goal it's all over, Leeds are too strong and a brace from Poveda in the 73rd and 85th minutes seal an emphatic victory for the Champions elect. 5-0 final score.

FFS with Pavlova and our squad is surely weaker with only an unfit JKA coming in....

Bielsa did say that Pavlova was a like for like replacement for Clarke....he's certainly filling that role to a tee

Feels like a long time since we had a weekend go our way like this.

13 to go, 7 at home and 6 away
Just Fulham to come out of the top 7

:-)  BB you're a bad man.

He would be allowed to grumble about our wastefulness again - the utter incompetence of Brizzle kind of disguised that - we could have drawn that game on another day with our inability to get the goals our play deserves.

That aside, nobody else in the league can create like our boys with the bit between their teeth and if we get 13 more like that you know how this ends [running-around-smiley-emoticon]

We should have scored two more goals, at the very least. Bamford’s chance in 2nd half is gigantic, and Augustin could have passed to Klich instead of shooting. Also some inoptimal decision-making by Costa, and then the woodwork two times, not to mention their keeper had a very good match. Anyways, we play some very attractive football, and we’re back on track.MOT

By the way: Lee Johnson is an embarrassment to listen to. You can say a lot about Bielsa (and we do, occasionally, don’t we?), but the man has got class. Of which Johnson has none.

Thought Harrison was different class today.... how many crosses did he put in on windy conditions.

His first touch is quality out of his feet whether from short or a long diagonal ball....
